The Wither boss' spawn mechanics have changed since the update to 1.12. As such, I did some experimenting, and discovered that Wither Killers will no longer work. The Wither now requires a clear 3x3x3 area to be summoned.
Unfortunately, this means the Wither Killing Room in Garouge will no longer work, as well as Nether-based killers.
