At one point or another someone will get lost and they will look for a pole but some poles have cages to keep people out of there region but what if someone needs to exit because they got lost and found a pole with a cage they would be stuck and most people won't want to walk to the next pole.
So what I'm trying to say is NO more cages around poles please.

Yeah but that also enables griefers to get in and grief unclaimed parts of your base. As seniors say no rollbacks on unclaimed builds. So we want to protect our valuables.

people are allowed to cage there region, it even says it in the FAQ section on the website (said below), if a person gets lost, well, the chance of finding a caged pole is slim,
if someone lost finds a caged pole, they can walk 400 blocks to the next one, it takes about 2 minutes to do it, plus if they run out of food, the chance that there are no animals or no trees or no food source, is even more slim
plus, if they wall off the pole, they need to claim the wall, so the chance that they leave there stuff unclaimed is really rare
like 0.01 chance, if you like math
Someone built a wall around a region pole and I cannot access the region. Can I destroy the wall, can you ban them? This is called pole locking and is a valid way to close off a named region from unwanted visitors. You may not grief the wall and this is not a banable offense. However, the locking player can be considered in the wrong if he/she is building where they shouldn’t be building or if the community at that region did not agree to it.

Chances are, if they were lost, they walked more than 400 blocks to get to the pole they found anyway. It does indeed take less than two minutes to just go North, East, West, or South from any region pole to get to the next. Pole locking is necessary. We want players to occupy named regions if they want and to have some privacy as well.

some people like me don't have enough claim blocks, which means some builds will be unclaimed for us, and pole locking is a way to prevent most people fromm griefing it

if someone is lost, they can do /whichregion , it will tell them what region they are in, and if the name is familiar, or wilderness (since the chance of a wilderness region being blocked is extremely rare) they can go there, if the region looks unfamiliar, they can save the time and walk to a farther one
example: Wixler_17:I am lost, i am afraid i get locked out a region and i am about to run out of food and starve Wixler_17 tipped: /which region Server: You are in region MOOOOOtown (i can't think of good names for these types of things) Wixler_17: well, that might be blocked of, i will go east a bit until i am at a new region Wixler_17 tipped: /which region Server: You are in Region Newtown Wixler_17: I know that region!!, i will go there!!!!!
