i had a villager named Patrick on my property but he is suddenly gone.. can you check what happened to him? the other 4 are still present..

Yea i actually just lost a villager too he was held up in a hole and blocked off but some how still managed to disappear. He was actually the villager that supplied my mending store in newtown so now ive had to close it down. The hole was lit up as well so a zombie couldnt have gotten em.

Colem, your villager may have been the one recently killed in the villager attacks by a griefing player.

Also keep in mind that lightning can turn your villager to witch that later despawns. So try to keep your villagers inside.

Any mob like pig, villager and creeper withing 3-4 block of a lightning strike will transform into there evil (or stronger) counterpart also keep in mind that lightning can also sometimes go throughout blocks, but rarely if they didn't fix it in 1.9. Light struk on horses are on purpose and is in the games code, so there is a 7.25 chance to happen, but it does not creat fire or transform creeper, villager, pig to the eviler self
