Hello all,
This is a community run channel where community created videos (BlockHermit tours, lets plays, guides ect) are uploaded to one convenient place, instead of being spread across all over youtube.
It Would Work Like This
First, you would (obviously) make a BlockHermit related video.
Then, you can send it to me (EwanTheGreat) over Discord or something, or perhaps my email (ewanviva2001@gmail.com)
After that, I will hopefully upload it onto the community channel for all BlockHermit players to see.
I know that there's already a BlockHermit YouTube Channel
but that's slightly different. The official BlockHermit channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPLo2zOBvXxfvtFPAQmgHLw) is mainly for official videos created by the BH staff themselves (HayanTokki in particular.) As I stated before, this channel would be for non-staff people only.
It Would Be Better To Upload To This Channel Because:
1) It will be seen (hopefully) by more people. Unless you're already an established youtuber, the chances are that not many people are going to see your video.
However, if you upload your video on a channel with (hopefully) a few more followers, then more people are more likely to see it!
2) I can edit for you. If you don't have the time or software to do editing, then I can help you edit your videos to upload to the channel. Don't worry - I won't tinker with it too much, and I will send you the new video before uploading to make sure that my edits are okay.
3) I will create playlists and (if you want) custom thumbnails. If you make your own custom thumbnails, then try and keep your thumbnails for each series distinct in style, so people can easily tell each series apart if the titles get too similar.
4) Hmm...I need four points to make it sound good...Hmm...Aha! You get to feel like you're contributing community; when you see your video on the BlockHermit Community channel, you..uhh, get to know that you're part of the community..?
Oh god that was really scraping out of the bottom of the barrel.
5) Actually, I've thought of another one now; if you cannot record yourself, then I can record for you (this can only work in specific scenarios, like tours)
The Rules:
The rules are still being sorted by so far I have:
1) Try not to swear! It's fine if you occasionally let one a curse word out by accident, but try not to drop an f-bomb every three seconds else you will be banned from the channel.
2) Don't try and advertise any other servers!
3) Advertising your own channels is allowed; but don't keep doing it all the time!
4) Only upload BlockHermit videos. Minecraft guides are allowed as long as they can be used on the server.
So..yeah

You can DM on Discord if you want to get in touch outside the forums. I am on the BH discord.
If the seniors have any problem with this whatsoever then I will happily delete this.
