Hi,
I'm just going to take my jumbled thought and throw them at my computer and hope it all makes sense.
I think on a player's birthday, they should be rewarded in some way. Given a present, if you will. Nothing big, maybe a thousand rhines or a few diamonds, just to give them a pat on the back for not dying for another year.
This process could be automated- not sure if there's a plugin for that- or the seniors could give handouts. This, of course, would be asking a lot of the seniors. It would be complicated, but still, just a nice thing to do.
Just my idea. Take it and run.
May the sandwich be with you, Tiberaus

I love this idea. I personally congratulate everyone on their birthday for not dying another year.

We do celebrations at our discretion because as we've learned in the past, players become entitled to rewards.

Fair enough, I can see how certain people could become greedy. I just hope I get something for my birthday :D

Everyone's birthday gift is being able to play on BlockHermit the whole year round without having to pay a dime.. Sweet, right? Also, we work with a large community, it's nearly impossible to keep track of everyone's birthdays combined with player activity to provide a gift to whoever plays. But, within that community we see that lots of players provide gifts for each other. I hope players can respect that between our responsibility as seniors/juniors, and our desire to be able to play Minecraft in peace, our efforts do have their limits.
