Changes to AFK Fishing

As of 1 December 2017, AFK fishing for prolonged periods is not allowed!
Players with AFK fish farms may have already noticed, but we have integrated a new system to deter people from AFK Fishing for prolonged periods of time. Players who fish will lose a point of hunger for each successful catch. The system will not allow you to fish if your health level is too low. This will allow players to AFK for short bursts at a time.
This system was put in place because players were found to abuse the AFK fishing by setting up their stations amidst many lag accumulating farms. This not only gave them an unfair advantage over loot over other players, this allowed the server to accumulate in lag, affecting the gameplay of many players.
Players found bypassing the anti-afk by use of beacons or other methods will be issued warnings. Third warnings automatically result in ban by the console. Please do not bypass the system. You are still able to fish, you are still allowed to use your AFK Fish farms, but you are NOT allowed to AFK for hours at a time.
Currently the server automatically kicks you for inactivity at 15 minutes. Please consider 15 minutes to be the max time you can AFK fish.
