Okay, so my question is... Are minimap mods allowed? I would like to use them, but wanted to check first. I also did check it, and it does work on the server. (I found this out accidentally.)

BluemoonWarrior just complained to MEC that MEC was using the Waypoints in Xaero's minimap mod. Please confirm if this is OK or not. We are both using the fair-play versions with deathpoints off.

TMO, you don't dictate what is and isn't allowed on the forums...
Floki, we've been having problems lately with people using minimap mods because people are using npc detectors and the like. Minimap for just the map itself is completely allowed. It should function just like the map item does in-game and no more.
We really don't want to restrict players' freedom from playing how they want to. Most mods are harmless. But it's the people taking advantage of little things on the side that makes it difficult for good players like you to be able to enjoy basic things. And I'm sorry it's like that.
