as you may of noticed some of the hoops in the end that are designed to guide Elytra users are broken. i have wanted to repair them but am unsure if I'm allowed to as or the rule (if you don't make it, don't touch it) if anyone could confirm an answer i would be very thankful of that. Fixing is okay, embellishing or sprucing things up should be avoided.
Fixing obvious damage is always encouraged, that being said, it might be better to put it in a request for repair (http://blockhermit.boards.net/board/16/requests). Not that that's the exact name for the request on the forums, but a senior might be able to fix it in 1/1,000 the time it would take you to do it.
But if you so inclined you are free to fix it.

Since they're unclaimed people find that to be the best source of sea lanterns and since they keep on being regenerated there are unlimited amounts of it.
