hey i know some good tips and stuff like that for youtube so let me share a few with you. First off obs is great to use but its mainly a streaming software if you want to keep using it knock yourself out but i recommend using screencastomatic screencast-o-matic.com/screen_recorder its a really good and lightweight screen recoder and the free version comes with everything you need and the full version has a built in editor so it takes less time to actually "make" a video after its recorded. Ok next edit your videos i know this seems obvious but it really helps in the long run no one wants to see/hear you talk about something irrelevant they want to see action if you edit your video to have alot more action by only including most of the action points then you will have a longer audience retention. Lastly make thumbnails for your videos. No one wants to click on a video that doesnt look visually appealing and having a really good thumbnail that captures something that happened in the video can really boost your numbers.
