shulker

I am trying to get a shulker into my base, and I boated one out of the end. It then proceeded to appear at spawn, and after I logged out, was killed. The reason I could not get it out of spawn was because of the administative access thing. Since it was becuase of this, could i have one of three things? I am willing to try to get another shulker out of the end, but administrative help would be nice, or spawning a shulker near the spawn, or maybe placing the world spawnpoint at my place for a moment while I take the shulker out of the end?
 I know the last two will probably be rejected, and the first might be as well, but I do not know what to do, as i really would like a shulker in my base. If I cannot have any help, at least thank you for reading.
