You can be mayor of two regions in total. Unless you are not the mayor of a region, you can live or build in as many as you want with permission of the mayor.

You can only be the Mayor of one region, but you can build in more than one region. Ideally you should be the mayor of your home region.

From the In Depth rules/FAQ - Only ONE mayor per regionBecause claiming only allows one owner, there can only be one mayor per region. In community builds/towns, it is recommended that the mayor claims the region pole. Which was the rule from when Mayors were first used. I suspect we may need to go through the rules again...

lieuwe said that one player can be the mayor of up to two regions. Cobbett said one region can have no more than one mayor. I fail to see how this is conflicting information.

Tiberaus you are terrible for attacking Cobbett in grammar (although pretty funny).
Anyway, every player may be mayor of a maximum of one region. The ONLY exception to this is that you claim an additional community/public pole but do NOT act as mayor--you'd be more of a "superintendent."
Thus, should you want to privately claim another pole, then you must relinquish the old one first. Attaining a voucher does not change the rule. This is the current rule as per all the majority of seniors. Please view this as final for now.

The read before you post should really be updated then, as we had no way of knowing that that's the rule.

There seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding. I wanted there to be one mayor at most in a region (so comayors aren't actually a thing) and I wanted players to be able to have two regions max. I felt this is only fair as I, myself, have two regions. There is also no way to moderate mayors of wilderness.
I think I will have to change the system to only allow a mayor to be mayor of one region by claiming the entire region which would disable the player from creating more claims if a one mayor system is insisted upon by other seniors. Seniors, please discuss on slack.

Ah, so we should indeed sort this out. Guess a few of us misinterpreted.
