Remember that rule "If you didn't make it, don't touch it"? Well, I would like to be allowed for a thing to do the opposite. I would like to not grief or destroy in any way a build, but make an area that I discovered where I wanted to build something a museum-like place. Could a senior find me when was the last activity (apart from me) there? And if that's long long ago could you allow me to touch that area though the rule tells us not to? Location will be given to a senior to check. I'm not including it here for safety reasons.

If you get permission from the owner or from a senior you are allowed to touch it. It is likely if the build is ages old that they may allow it or regenerate it. It really depends on where, when, what, and who. This thread may be appropriate for the requests section but idk. TY

Well, first is location.
Next point there is no one answer fits all. Except, yes the first one. You can cohabitate with old existing build whose claims are lapsed, sometimes, but in that situation you build you stuff next to the exisitng and leave it be and just take care of you own stuff.
But more likely than not builds usually get regenned and the space is cleared up for new development.
Anyway, coordinates are prerequisite first. But this should be a new thread as a player submission in Player Requests as you are personally asking permission to do something.

Ok, who should I give the location and stuff to though?

You, as a player, are requesting something specific for you.
There is a Requests section on the forums.
