I am considering changing my username, and possibly MEC's on Minecraft. A quick google search shows that this is possible. But how does this work on Blockhermit? Will my claims become broken?

You can change your Minecraft name through Mojang once every 30 days. Your UUID is unaffected by this.
You'll be fine.

Hey, I've gone ahead and made the mayorship list reflect your new name. When mec changes his, please make sure to request the name update in the requests section of the forum so we're up to date. The mayorship is done manually by us, so that change has to also be made manually.

The name changing breaks your data thing only happened back in 1.6, it doesn't occur anymore.
