MC has many fun and useful features that makes it the most popular game in the world (more people watch youtube videos about fortnite, but fortnite has less monthly players.) However, there are things that we wish that was in MC, and i was wondering what you guys wanted in MC. Here's what i would want:
*Another boss
*More tools/weapons
*People stop complaining about 1.9 combat mechanics because mobs in 1.8.9 and below were SOOOO easy to kill :)
I probably would of said "dynamic lighting" but optifine takes care of that

Block variants - it's been almost 10 years, can we get all the stairs and slabs.
Red dragon - I heard Notch wanted to put a dragon in the nether long ago. My own thing that I would add to that would be dragon scales to make armour.(mod prolly exists but i don't play modded)
Give the mobs a bit more hp, but have them spawn less.
redstone is a cause of a lot of lag, so just put in redstone conduits and conduit hoppers.(I know mods exist for this, but minecraft really needs a whole redstone redesign at this point)

Overwatch is clearly not dead, it's only coming to the narrow edge because of some wrong decisions by developers and the toxic community. Fortnite might make some bad decisions, even though epic games is a well known company. But it's community will back it up. It's not going anywhere soon. Every game comes to its end, minecraft, Fortnite, pubg, etc. Some sooner than later |

fortnite has 40 million monthly players. MC has 75 million monthly players. Stop talking about fortnite. This thread is about stuff you would want in a future update.

There is talk of the combat system being redone.
Also, on the vertical redstone topic, thats what torch towers are for. If we could plce redstone on walls it would make things easy to the point of modded minecraft. They added "gears" once a long time ago which were vertical redstone, but it only lasted a day or two.

My thoughts 1) Redstone needs an update. - Take the clunkiness out of it, its just a royal pain to connect things, (powering pistons does not need to be as hard as it is!)
- Directional redstone dust or directional repeaters, including up. Torch towers does NOT fix going up IMOP.
- Get some new electronics, AND gate, OR gate, or something simple which is programmable in Survival Minecraft (ie minecraft arduino). Thinking something where you can enter into it "If(input > 4, output 1 tick, on)"
- Hoppers can be placed facing UP. Or if that sounds illogical, create a hopper facing up and call it a Vacuum. Getting Items to go up is unnecessarily difficult.
2) Revamp the Nether. Currently, you really dont go exploring there, just get in, get your stuff, and get out.
- Add "biomes", consider the idea of an Oasis, a relatively rare place where water can exist
- Add blocks, so there can be at least be some texture
After 1.13 I don't think we need any new mobs, its about too many as it is.
Feel free to pick this apart.
