Unfortunately due to strange issues my internet has dropped to a new low of 9-10kb/s and I have to contend with 4-5kb/s due to my sister insisting on streaming youtube while I'm online. This is probably the cause of my recent death in the resource world due to lag.
So while I'm not quitting the server by any means, I may have to play less until something gets done about my internet.

Well, to justify this thread, here's a full diag:
0.38 Mbps download (This is while no one else is online)
0.07 Mbps upload
239 ms latency (ping)
The upload speed explains the server/client position errors that killed me in the resource world and the download speed explained why I was drifting through the ground, my network couldn't load the chunks I was supposed to be standing on because my mouse/keyboard input took 239ms to register per input per system cycle (I think)

I'm quite sad now, minecraft no longer launches as the launcher says it needs a new runtime but the download constantly times out. I might be gone for a while...
(Note: this webpage took 5 minutes to load)

Have you tried resetting and/or upgrading your modem and/or router?
Sounds like you might be playing with a wifi connection.

Ah well what can you do? Anyway by the time
I move to my next house (Scheduled for next year) the regen period with have far elapsed and all my everything will be gone but then again, there's nothing like a fresh start right?
I will return to the server, just not for quite a while, if you want to regen my builds right now it's probably for the best, cliff could probably do with a better mayor anyway.
And one more favour, if you do regen my builds, could you delete my player.dat file as well? Restarting with full diamond gear isn't really restarting
