We can say it's obvious branch mining, but there's no way for us to define that is for sure your objective. Just because it looks like it doesn't mean it is it. We still recommend mayors get resources from resource world, but if they mine in their own region, they're allowed to. Again, because we cannot differentiate what's what as far as the intent goes.

The specific 'do not do this' regarding resource mining is going to random regions and caving for ores - another player might move there later, and find it mined out. Gallery mining under your base for diamonds inside your claim isn't so much of a problem.
