Since summer is quickly coming to a close and students are going back to school, I thought it'd be a good time to share my idea of building a safety deposit box for players.
The idea is that players would pay a fee to have some of their more valuable items kept in protective safekeeping until their return at a later date. Prices vary depending on how much storage they want or how long they want items stored.
If you think you'll be away for longer than the 2 month claim expiration time, this is a good way to ensure that once you return to BH you won't have to start over from scratch.
As for Rhine storage the only thing I can recommend is to convert them in to high value items such as Diamonds, Emeralds, or valuable enchanted books, since the possibility of an economy reset is always possible as we've seen before.

True, there's an ender chest, but how often do you hear of players losing their entire storage rooms due to inactivity? Chests full of redstone parts, stacks of quartz, armor, tools, books, or even food to last a whole season! You know, Wix, for a small fee, you wouldn't have to go through that kind of panic or headache. You could go to school, then come back in the winter, or even the summer, and be able to get back into the game comfortably  |

Not bad idea. Make like storage facility that is adminclaimed and subdivide it and give trust to who ever is renting, that is how you make sure that storage claim isn't gonna expire and peeps can get their stuff without waiting someone to be online.

Probably wouldn't cost too much. A basic storage package would be relatively cheap compared to the rooms with more chests.

but bigger claims don't expire on their own.. if someone i "know" and like on the server says he's taking a break and gives a valid reason but planning on returning i usually suggest making his claim large enough so it doesn't expire..
+ usually when i come across a build that's not under a claim anymore i try to figure out who it belongs to and discuss it with a senior so they can adminclaim it if they know the owner.
There IS enough place and empty regions to be able to keep some builds and regions safe for a while..

you could make a region called vault where the entire region is adminclaimed and have a pluggin like in those prison servers where you pay (server) cash monthly

Probably wouldn't do that, Wix, as those prison servers often operate against Microsoft ToS.
