A building competition

I am excited to announce the beginning of a BH wide building competition located in the Region rapture. Everything you need to know is at the associated region pole, however I will also mention it here:
Only building related entries will be accepted. Do not build things like statues, vehicles, abstract art, etc...
There are 3 leagues to compete in. A player can compete in as many leagues as they wish. They are Skyscraper, Building, and House
Skyscraper league - Build sky scrapers. Plot sizes to build in are between 24x24 and 27x27
Building league - Build smaller buildings (2-5 stories tall). Plot sizes to build in are between 14x14 and 24x24.
House League - Build homes to live in (1-3 stories tall). Plot sizes are between 14x14 and 10x10
Each league has a 5 diamond buy in price to compete. So if you chose to compete in all 3 that would be 15.
The entries are judged by myself, and will be evaluated on 3 different criteria:
Functionality: Can this build do anything cool? Examples include piston doors, working lights, functional showers, etc...
Interior decoration: Does the inside actually look like the inside of a building? I will be looking for offices, bedrooms, janitor closets, the works. I want to see some realism in these.
Exterior decoration: Is the architecture cool to look at? Does the color scheme work? How expensive are the materials, and most importantly, how would it look if in an actual city?
The competition begins on March 1, and ends on May 1. Players can enter the competition whenever they wish. I will be judging the entries most likely on May 7th.
To enter, simply throw a signed book with your name, or a nametag with your name into the league hopper at the region pole, along with your entry fee. Then make an effort to find me, either on the server, or in this forum. I will then assign you a plot to build in.
League winners get the entry fees of all other league competitors. So the more people in a league, the higher the pay out. Should this competition give a high turnout, I will also arrange for mystery prizes for 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Entries will be staying on the plots they are built upon. Players will not be tearing them down afterwards. So don't build your stuff out of diamond blocks, unless you plan on never using them again. I want everyone to see these masterpieces for a good long time afterwards
