Often times we get asked if there are admins/OPs on the server, or if certain players are one. Simply put: THERE ARE NO ADMINS OR OPS ON THE SERVERThe server is run by players. Players who have been on a very long time with no infractions with a history of having helped out the server. These players do not all have certain privileges and are not given the title to facilitate other players. The server is set up this way because it is meant to be a self sufficient server. Meaning that in most cases, players should be able to prevent mishaps with their own abilities. This includes claiming your land to prevent griefing, and using /ignore <player name> to avoid hostile encounters. However, because not everything is so easily said and done, certain players were given privileges to help. When a plugin doesn't work properly or if something goes missing but it is the server's fault. The goal of having seniors in place and no admins is to allow all players the ability to play. It is not fair to any player to have to help all the time. To put it easily, here is a guideline of what a senior is: - a player just like you with the additional ability to help at their discretion without responsibility to do so
- a player who is on the server to play minecraft within a community
- a player with no actual obligation to help
- a player who is taking time out of their play time to help you
- a player who is helping with things behind the scenes
Please think about what it would be like to try and build your base with everyone demanding help from you. It is not fun.
