Law of supply and demand.

Hi there,
I just set up a shop at my sugarcane farm. It consists of 3 doublechests. The bottom one (the one that fills first, which from now on i shall call chest a) is set up so that it sells sugarcane for 300 Rhines a stack, the chest b charges 175 Rhines, and chest c charges 100 Rhines per stack.
This, in theory, should be no problem because it goes along with the law of supply and demand, in the sense that, when i got 3 full chests, i want to sell really cheap, because i dont want so much stock hanging around. When i got 2, I still want to sell but i dont need it desperatly, so i sell at a normal price, and when i only got one chest, its for my own use and i dont need/want to sell it, so i put it at a desorbitated price following the "i dont want to sell it, but if you pay this much, sure, take it" logic.
So, my point is, this shouldnt be illegal because this is the very reason why tomatos' price change every year: this year we have a lot, we can sell them cheaper, this year has been a bad year, we sell it more expensive.
So after all this presumptuous title and explain, here is my question, is it legal on this server what i just have done at my sugarcane farm, if not, please let me know so i can change it.
