What if, there's a non-whitelisted server like the one we have now, and then a whitelisted server with maybe less plugins, or the same plugins but, well, whitelisted. That's pretty much all I have to say about it.

It'd be nice to have a Blockhermit without claims, shops, and cheaters, but people can be nasty so the semi-vanilla server you know and love is equipped that way.
The moment you introduce a real-world currency cover charge to the game, it's enough of a deterrent to keep players honest.

The current hermitcraft isn't even at its core the idea I wanted for the server. A hermit is he who lives alone by his own resources, a recluse. The original HC had players live out and about separate from each other. That's all that we had in common. The hermit part. This server comes out of my pocket and a few others' pockets to support the way it is. We are our own identity of a server. We all work to feed ourselves and our family and the bit we have leftover goes into this server. This is true of myself and other patrons (no, they're not all from patreon). Kindly think more about what we are currently giving away for free before asking for more. |
